Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed-martial artist. She was born August 18th in 1986. She is currently a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was a former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate earlier competed in Strikeforce and was an Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently is ranked in the top 10 of UFC women's bantamweight list at the time of her entry on October 3 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. As a teenager, she was a tomboy She often hung out with the boys of her community on playgrounds.
